Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By authorizing repairs, requesting a quote, or using the services provided by AD Automotives Smash Repairs ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement concerning your access to and use of our automotive repair services, facility, and website.

2. Estimates and Authorizations

• Initial Estimates: All initial quotes are estimates based on visual inspections. Hidden damage may be discovered once the vehicle is disassembled (teardown).
• Supplemental Damage: If additional damage is found, we will notify you or your insurance company immediately. A supplemental estimate will be generated, and repairs will only proceed upon approval.
• Authorization: Written or verbal authorization (including email or text confirmation) is required before any repair work commences.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment Due: Full payment for all repairs, parts, and services is due upon completion of the work and prior to the release of the vehicle.
• Insurance Deductibles: Customers processing claims through insurance are responsible for paying their deductible directly to us upon vehicle pickup.
• Storage Fees: Vehicles left at our facility for more than 48 hours after notification of repair completion may be subject to a daily storage fee, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Mechanic's Lien: We reserve the right to retain possession of your vehicle until all outstanding balances are paid in full, in accordance with applicable state laws.

4. Parts and Materials

Depending on your insurance policy or personal preference, repairs may utilize Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, aftermarket parts, or recycled/used parts. We will always inform you of the type of parts being used. Our priority is maintaining the structural integrity and safety of your vehicle.

5. Workmanship Warranty

AD Automotives takes pride in offering an elite standard of workmanship. We provide a limited lifetime warranty on all structural and body repairs, and a specific warranty on paint matching and application, for as long as you own the vehicle.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by subsequent accidents, rust, corrosion, environmental damage, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, or parts/materials failing due to manufacturer defects (which are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties).

6. Personal Property

While we take extreme care with every vehicle, AD Automotives is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left inside the vehicle during the repair process. We strongly advise removing all valuables, electronics, and important documents prior to dropping off your vehicle.

7. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

We strive to complete all repairs within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including backordered parts, delayed insurance approvals, or discovering supplemental damage. We are not liable for any costs (such as rental car fees) incurred due to these delays.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
